Privacy Policy

This is a small shed lot in Hartville, Ohio, and the website exists so you can see what is on the lot and get in touch. We collect as little as that needs, and we do not sell or rent any of it.

What we collect

When you send a message. The contact form asks for your name and phone number, and optionally your email, city and a message. If you ask about a particular shed, the listing you asked about is saved with the message. That is stored in our database and emailed to Pete so the message gets answered.

When you just browse. Our host, Cloudflare, sees your IP address and browser type to serve the pages, as every web host does. We keep a short-lived record of IP addresses to limit how often a single address can submit the form or try to sign in to the admin area. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics scripts on this site.

Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile may set a cookie of its own for that purpose; Cloudflare's privacy policy covers it.

How we use it

To answer your message, to arrange a delivery or a Rent-to-Own agreement if you go ahead, and to keep the site working and free of spam. Nothing else.

Who sees it

Pete and the people who help run the lot. Two service providers handle the data on our behalf: Cloudflare hosts the site and the database, and our email provider delivers the notification about your message. Neither is permitted to use it for anything else. We do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept for as long as they are useful for answering you and following up on a sale, then deleted. IP records for rate limiting are discarded within a day.

Your choices

Ask and we will tell you what we have from you, correct it, or delete it. Use the contact page or call (330) 587-4311. You can also browse the whole site without sending anything.

Children

The site is for adults buying storage buildings. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
